River Spirit Casino

Eslick Design provided comprehensive planning and design for all exterior and interior signage for the original River Spirit Casino Resort. Owned by the Muscogee Nation the site runs along the East bank of the Arkansas River. The exterior design theme recalls the sedimentary nature of the never ending changes of rivers, but in a contemporary style. All building signage aligns with this theme.

Initially the casino was to be named “Indigo” but during construction the name was changed to “River Spirit”. EDA designed logos for both names and developed additional logos for all the F&B and Retail venues.

The main identity pylon was placed near the vehicular entrance to act as a landmark for visitors. Construction incorporated perforated stainless steel to minimize maintenance and withstand the windy conditions and blowing sand from the river.
